There is a female auxiliary informant (the informant's wife) present starting in the middle of region 2, throughout the interview. Towards the end of region 2, the informant addresses men who are working nearby, but they do not start a conversation. In the middle of region 5, a telephone rings and the female informant leaves temporarily to answer it. In the middle of region 7, the male informant leaves momentarily to get a kerosene lamp to show the interviewer. In the middle of region 13, there is a child wispering in the background for a few moments, and he makes noise throughout the rest of the interview.
